From WePad(iPad) to WeTab – A German Tablet Computer

Neofonie a German organisation is coming out with iPad like Tablet device which was named initially as WePad.By later after all the skepticism the tablet device is renamed as WeTab and its release date is set to August.This tablet computer is going to be of 11.6 inch and the device price is also fixed for preorders
The 16GB WiFi-only model will cost around €449 ($573) and the 32GB version will cost around €569 ($726)

WePad oops! WeTab is going to be a 11.6 inch Android based slate with the resolition of about 1366 x 768 pixels whereas iPad is about 9×7 dimension.
WeTab comes with the Intel Atom N450 processor whereas iPad is with Apple’s own processor addition to that WeTab comes with Intel GMA 3150 graphics.WeTab supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with 1.3 MegaPixel Camera.
WeTab weighs in at 800g whereas iPad weighs at 763 grams with Wi-Fi and 3G support but without 3G it is only 680 grams.

Neofonie claims that WeTab comes with many advantages compared to iPad by supporting flash,no software required to play music whereas iPad requires itune kind of softwares to play.
Neofonie also claims that there are already 20,000 customers waiting to do preorder and many customers are waiting for the WeTab release.

Apple delays international release date of ipad

Following the strong demand of ipad in the US, Apple has announced that it will delay the international launch by a month, until the end of May. Apple claims to have delivered about 500,000 ipads during the first week of its launch in the US and the demand is far higher than it was initially predicted. Also it has taken a sizeable number of pre-orders for ipad 3 G to be delivered by the end of April.
This high demand is the US is likely to continue and exceeds the supply over the next several weeks. Apple has mentioned in the press release that it will announce the international pricing and begin taking online pre-orders on 10th of May.
Although the ipad has received some negative review from its users especially for its inability to multitask and discomfort in holding the tablet, its sleek design and many other features attracts more buyers each day and proves that ipad is a runaway success in the US. And this delay in release to international customer is sure to disappoint many.

Rumours on Google coming out with Tablet like iPad

Google has not made any public announcement about its upcoming Google Tablet like iPad.After HP announcing its HP Slate a competent for iPad,Nokia and Microsoft to release tablet computer and now its the turn of Google to release its own Tablet.
Google is planning to release its tablet with latest Android OS.But other parts of the news says that it may also release its Tablet with Chrome OS.
It seems Google CEO Eric Schmidt has discussed with his friends about its plans on iPad like Tablet at Los Angels Party.

So we are here to decide which Tablet computer to go for once all the planned devices are released.But for sure Apple is going to have a tough competetion with all giants for its latest device iPad.
