I was quite amazed when I found the Chennai Metropolitan Transport Corporations Bus website with lots of useful information. This will be of great help for those looking for Bus Routes, connections, AC Bus timings, frequencies and various stagewise bus information of Chennai’s Local Bus service ie MTC.
In the stagewise route information you can select any starting (or boarding ) point and Destination and the site gives all the Buses covering the routes (even if your boarding point is in middle of a route). Also the expected time of journey, frequencies and map (under construction as of now).

But buddy.. t website stinks.. its damn slow most of t times.. there are also invalid bus timings.. certain buses wont work on sundays and ther s no intimation abt tat in tat stupid website..

The bus timings – time table is incomplete. The new timings and the new services ( Like 18K (available) K18 (not available) ) are to be updated atleast once in a week. If this is not done it is a waste of energy for both the Public and MTC

hai buddy.. appreciate to maintain the mass network time table. But most of the times its taking too much time to launch the main screen and one more request, kindly update the new MTC AC buses timings.

this is the most disgusting bus service website that i have ever browsed…take a cue from sholapur bus terminus website….learn from best bus website and understand what consumer service is from the mta of new york…..ur website is still in its infancy….the chief minister poses nicely but the position of buses in website is disgusting….jus crap info…non productive and non user friendly…

It shows timing only from source to final destination, but does not include the journey time between one stop to another.
45B bus is rare service.During school hours no buses are coming. please arrange extra buses in this route

Its good one but to be update the timing from first bus to last bus fo rall area.
I want to know the Bus timings and its route from Velachery to Mepz.
There are no timings available for Non-AC buses.
Only for Ac buses the timings are available in the portal, which is very worst.
I want to know the timings overall in a day for the bus route 517k which goes from kelambakkam to pallavaram and vice versa.
