TCS wins Rolls-Royce

India’s top software service exporter, proudly announced their victory over the Roll Royce deal. On Wednesday(21st Apr), it has won the contract to provide design and engineering services to British engine-maker Rolls Royce. However the the financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

As per the agreement, TCS will set up a technology center in the hi-tech city Bangalore to provide design and engineering services to Rolls Royce.

Dell Aero to be launched for AT&T in June

As per the recent update, Aero the Android phone specially designed by Dell for AT&T will be launched in June. Aero will have the features of Dell’s first smartphone running Google’s Android OS, however added advantage is the new mobile Aero, will run Android that includes alternate user interface.

This smartphone is expected to have the features of 3.5″ touchscreen(360*640), 3.2 MP Camera, GPS and microSD memory card slot. It also has a front facing camera which allows for video conferencing. In addition to Wi-Fi and 3G, it will have Bluetooth.

Dell is about to offer this gadget with Adobe Flash which a iPad will never have!!
The pricing and other specifications has not yet come into light.

Google acquires Agnilux -Master brain in Chips and Processors

Google has acquired Agnilux for its internal servers and processors where in Agnilux can come out with efficient ones which will inturn reduce millions of cost savings.With the help of Agnilux efficient employees Google will be able to use high end processors with great performance and also there can be lot of power saving options within the processors.Agnilux as a team can give a great support to Google in data center business.

Initially Agnilux was within the company PA Semi (originally “Palo Alto Semiconductor”) .During 2008 Apple acquired PA Semi and had its internal chips and processors for its iPhone and iPod developed at this center.But Employees of PA Semi were not satisfied as the stock value of the company was not appreciable.Later they formed a seperate organisation called Agnilux and now its acquired by Google

With this master mind employees in Chips and Processors Google can even slowly enter into this industry though it has plans only to develop things for its internal operations.
