Sprint Overdrive 3G/4G – Review

Sprint’s latest 4G WiMAX modem. It connects upto five devices and downloads 10 times faster than 3G.  Now you connect your phone, your laptop and anything else wirelessly that uses Wi-Fi and get 4G speeds in seconds. You can download files really faster.


When your are out of the 4G coverage the Overdrive drops back to 3G, using Sprint’s EVDO Rev.A network. This device is designed in such a way, an LCD display gives the status updates, including network type and signal strength, together with battery life. Also there is a microSD card slot (with 16GB cards).
Overdrive confirms 3hrs access time from the 1,830 mAh battery or 36hrs standby.  It also has integrated GPS.
