Finally Samsung Galaxy S II in US

Samsung finally announced that Galaxy S II will be launched in US by mid of the month September. The phones would be available through network carriers like AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile with 4G HSPA+ 21 Mbps (on AT&T and T-Mobile networks) and 4G WiMax (on Sprint) networks on release version mobiles.

The S II model released by AT&T would be of 8.9 mm in thickness with 4.3 inches screen size, whereas T-Mobile and Sprint would have its S II model with 9.5mm and 9.7 mm in thickness respectively. And with same screen size of  4.52 inches. All models will have 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, TouchWiz Interface, Stream HD video, Wi-Fi Direct, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB of external memory storage expandable upto 32 GB, and 8 MP camera.

Nokia N9 (Meego) Review and comparison

Nokia N9 is Nokia’s new smartphone, with 3G network of High Speed Uplink Packet Access of 5.7 Mbps and High Speed Downlink Packet Access of 14.4 Mbps, its dimensions are 116.45 * 61.2 * 12.1 mm, with a screen size of 3.9 inches, 16:9 FWVGA (854 * 480) pixels AMOLED display, capacitive touch screen, gorilla glass display, 16.7 million colors, and weighs 135 g. Its OS is MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan with 1 GHz Cortex A8 Processor.

Though much has been talked about the Meego OS, the phone itself is designed to perfection. Probably a Elop let Nokia team take one last gasp for the open source world. But if Meego does become more successful, there is always a chance Meego might appear in some of Nokia’s future devices.

The phone has 8 MP camera with Carl Zeiss Optics, wide angle lens, dual LED flash, digital shutter, continuous auto focus, 4x digital zoom and video camera with 720 pixels resolution at 30 frames per second, stereo sound recording, and etc., The internal memory is of 16 or 64 GB, 1 GB RAM and no external card slot.The 8 MP camera is comparable to 2011 top notch smartphones and on the lines of Samsung Galaxy S2 and Apple’s soon to be released iPhone 5.

Samsung Galaxy Ace, Fit, Gio and Mini Android OS phones revealed today

Samsung today revealed its four smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, Galaxy Gio S5660, Galaxy Fit S5670, Galaxy Mini S5570 with Android OS and also with TouchWiz UI which all are next to Samsung Galaxy S runing Android OS. All these smartphones run Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Samsung Galaxy Ace is a mid-range phone with 3.5 inches screen size, HVGA TFT-LCD and 800 MHz processor.

The next phone Samsung Galaxy Gio is of 3.2 inches screen size with HVGA TFT-LCD, 800 MHz processor which is much similar to Galaxy Ace. Galaxy Fit and Mini are at entry-level where Galaxy Fit is 3.3 inches screen size with QVGA TFT-LCD and 600 MHz processor with 3D accelerator. Galaxy Mini is of 3.14 inches screen size with QVGA TFT-LCD and 600 MHz processor. As for today all these phones are only available at Russia and be followed by rest of Europe and Asia soon
